When/Where: Monday, Feb. 12, 11:30am-1pm, Center for Architecture

Assistant Fire Chief Socrates Bratakos will be attending the AIA State Building Code Review & Discussion at noon on Monday 2/12/2018. This will be a joint IBC, IRC and LUO task force meeting to discuss fire sprinklers in residential buildings. This is a unique opportunity as the building codes and LUO are being reviewed at the same time. Topics of discussion will be related to the removal of the fire sprinkler requirement from the model code and might include incentivizing fire sprinklers by offering increased density to offset the cost of the fire sprinklers.

Meetings open to anyone interested in participating in the code review. Click on the links below for more information and to register.
