Meeting Information: All active AIA Honolulu members are invited to attend. Elections will be held to fill expiring terms for 2020 AIA Honolulu Officers, Directors and AIA Honolulu Representatives to the AIA Hawaii State Council.
AIA Honolulu Board of Directors Elections – Who Can Vote? As stated in the Bylaws, all AIA members and Associate AIA members in good standing for 2019, and assigned by the Institute to this Chapter as their primary membership, are eligible to vote at this meeting. Local allied members may attend but may not vote. If you can't attend the AIA Honolulu Annual Business Meeting per the Bylaws eligibility requirement email Camilla Nicholas, AIA Honolulu.

Join the AIA Young Architects Forum (YAF) for a pau hana filled with networking, games, food and drinks. Kieselbach will host a demonstration of their processes and tools used in woodworking with veneers and the vacuum process. Kieselbach Associates will be available to answer questions and show dry runs after the demonstration. However, for safety purposes, actual cuts may only be made during the demonstration. Friends and colleagues welcome. We will have some great prizes to giveaway throughout the evening!

Join us for an intimate discussion of the topic of roadblocks to affordable housing. Speakers are Makani Maeva, Ahe Group, who is the founder and director of this Hawaii affordable housing development company operating on three islands. Keith Sawamura, principal of Design Partners with 26 years of experience in providing project management and architectural design services for multi-family and single-family communities for military, state government non-profit developers, and the private sector in a production-build setting.
